You might be interested to know that IS Certification Services are trying to develop a new online method of certification audit to cater for companies and individuals in remote or difficult to access regions.
Please note this new certification service is not intended to take the place of an on site audit. In some instances we do not feel visual auditing is needed, it only means that there would be an opportunity for a level of certification available to those who might otherwise not be able to measure compliance.
With any form of audit an understanding of the ISO Standards requirements is essential – The development of an online ISO audit will not be easy, it will need to function and be as efficient as a qualified Auditor sitting next to you – We will need to focus on data and usability, aim to answer all questions, offer sound advice and solutions to help you achieve (maintain) ISO Standards certification.
